Volkswagen Canada
COVID-19 FAQs
General
The impact COVID-19 has had on our Volkswagen community and the world at large is dramatic and will continue to evolve as we navigate this unchartered territory.
At Volkswagen Canada, our priority at this moment is to ensure the health and safety of our people – in our offices, showrooms, and beyond. Some of the meaures we are taking to do our part include instituting a work from home policy for our office staff, temporarily closing a number of showrooms (and exercising heightened sanitization protocols across those that remain open), and working with our partners across Canada to find ways to continue to serve the Volkswagen community as safely and effectively as possible.
Volkswagen is closely monitoring the evolving situation and will continue to follow guidelines set out by our government and health agencies.

Dealerships and test drives
Currently, our dealerships are open for business. Contact your local dealership to confirm if an appointment is required or visit their website to find out how they’re here to help. Volkswagen is keeping a close eye on the serious and fluid situation as it evolves, and will continue to act in accordance with official guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our people.
Volkswagen dealerships are taking additional measures to keep their showrooms and service areas clean and safe for our people. These measures include but are not limited to the increased and frequent sanitization of touch surfaces (door handles, steering wheels, touch screens, and more) around the dealerships, additional employee training, and closely following the guidelines of our health agency authorities. Individual dealerships are working to find more effective ways to assist you, some are bringing the test drive to customers, to taking things online, and offering mobile service options. Please look to your local dealer for a more extensive look into what they are doing to keep the Volkswagen experience safe for everyone.
